Look How CNN Covers US Troop Casualties for July

"U.S., Iraqi death tolls head in opposite directionsThe U.S. troop death toll in Iraq for July -- which rose to 73 on Tuesday -- is the lowest monthly total since November, reflecting military hopes that the recent troop buildup is making strides. However, the figure is nearly twice as high as in the same month last year, while Iraqi military and civilian fatalities jumped in July."

One thing to note. July deaths were 43 last year. But the months before and after July of last year - death totals were in the 60's. That 43 month was an anomaly.
Also civilian fatalities are up over June but there still at the lowest since October of 06.
Lastly - interesting phrasing saying the military hopes the troop buildup is making strides- because Americans do not want them to succeed?

Just more evidence that CNN really wants the United States to lose this war. It is me or is it bizarre to want your country to fail? Something is odd about that.
