If You Do Not Like It - Turn The Channel

Recently New York has arrested one man for broadcasting Hizbollah TV and now they want this next season of Survivor taken off the air.
I do not understand why people get so outraged by what is broadcasted on either tv or radio. If we only had one channel then that would be different. But because this country is so awesome we now have hundreds of different options on both radio and tv - and if you do not like something you can turn the dial. TURN THE DIAL.

My City is Out of Control

Telling restaurants what they cannot serve.
Becuase a city council member has animal rights issues - restaurant owners have to pay the price. There is a market for this product but that does not matter. If you have issues with foie gros then do not eat it. But do not tell others that they can't.
Remember the good old days when we had choices in the country.

I Support This Teacher

I do not think this teacher was making a political statement. Rather getting his class to debate a serious topic. Unless the school has a policy against this, I do not think they have the right to remove him. It seems to me that the school is being too damn sensitive to the issue and they are trying to protect those frail and scared little children. If one kid has issues with it, then something MUST BE DONE to protect that kid. Who cares if all the other kids understood the point.
