Goverment Telling Parents How To Raise Their Kids

Once again - goverment thinks they know better than individuals. This bill is to protect children from parents who are stupid, becuase you must be an idiot if you smack your child. Talking is always the answer. This is just another example of those who feel morally superior believing their own personal views should be the views of everyone else and if parents do not want to obey well they can be arrested or fined. The best part if parents who are arrested will be required to take a class on parenting. And I am sure these morally superior people think they are doing California a great justice. I just see these people standing on some podium with their hands on their hips, red cape on, and hair blowing in the wind.

I Blame MySpace As Well

I would never think that the teenagers should take any responsibility in this. The girl was forced to go online, forced to set up an account on my space, forced to talk to some guy in a sexual manner, and forced to meet up with him. Damn you MySpace for making that happen. There are innocent teenagers out there that you are destroying.

Do judges have to be crazy in order to get on the 9th Circuit in San Fran? I mean seriously - is crazy a prerequisite?

Anti-Smokers Saving Lives

This should just be left up to the person or persons who own the buildings. They can determine if tenants are able to smoke. If your building is smoke free, and you have a problem with that - move somewhere that permits it. Or vice versa. How is this hard? Bring on the health care argument. I am really getting tired of people telling others how they NEED to live their lives. There is a moral superiority thing going on here and I will write about that soon.
