Thank God for the PC Police
Seriously - will there ever be a day when everyone gets the joke and then moves on with their day. I mean this comment is just crazy, GLAAD spokesman Marc McCarthy said Tuesday the group believed “this kind of prejudice was inexcusable.” And Darwin - I am upset with Snickers more for succuming to the pressure and pulling the ad then I am with the people who pressured them. By the way - the ad was very funny, and I am a huge advocate for gay rights. WEIRD!

Actually, I'm way more upset with the people objecting to the ad than with Snickers for pulling the ad. Snickers is a company and doesn't really have an obligation to stand on principle here if they think pulling the ad is a better business decision. But from the story it sounds like this ad wasn't making fun of gay people, it was making fun of straight guys who are nervous about looking gay. If the ad had featured some lisping fairy acting like an idiot then I would understand their reaction... but I'm not sure why gay-rights activits should care about this ad, which only made fun of straight people.
Frankly, it pisses me off when the leaders of gay-rights groups make the entire community look like humorless idiots by overreacting like this.
Your both total assholes. You didnt even consider the children:
"This type of jeering from professional sports figures at the sight of two men kissing fuels the kind of anti-gay bullying that haunts countless gay and lesbian school children on playgrounds all across the country,” Human Rights Campaign president Joe Solmonese said in a statement."
One has to get around the libertarian argument some way.
Interesting because one would think that allowing same sex couples to raise children would open those children to school yard bullying. Does this organization advocate against same sex couple being allowed to adopt?
