People should be free to choose what is best for themselves as long as they do not infringe on the rights of others to do the same. I created this blog to discuss issues I have with big government, liberal media, and to talk about my support for capitalism and the Iraq War.

That wasn't about Imus, Kerry wants more attnetion. Did you catch his, "I might run for President again?" Just my take on things. Oh, and no, Imus shouldn't have been fired.
I do agree with you. Kerry does want attention to test the waters about running for President.
Also, about the Imus thing - it's not like hte government stepped in a censured him. The company he works for decided they didn't want to employ him any more after he made these public statements.
If I made a racist remark at work, I'd probably get fired. If some PR person from Blizzard Entertainment publicly said 'Yeah, World of Warcraft players are just fat virgin losers who let us balckmail them every month for the illusion of a social life.', they would fire him immediately.
Companies don't like to be associated with employees who affend thier target consumers. Just a business decision.
Darwin, I don't understand your comment. At least not the part about target audiences. Black people were definitely not Imus's target audience, and he never bothered to politically correct before.
SPEECH IS STILL FREE IN AMERICA!!!!!!
