People should be free to choose what is best for themselves as long as they do not infringe on the rights of others to do the same. I created this blog to discuss issues I have with big government, liberal media,and to talk about my support for capitalism and the Iraq War.

I was totally with you, until I noticed the teacher told students to go get their bibles and put them in a line to get them. People handing out bibles= whatever, state-paid teacher telling students to pick up their bibles on school grounds during school hours = seperation of church and state issue = ACLU's purvue.
Hate to say it but i think i fall on the side of the ACLU. While arguing the girl was 'coercized' is weak in general no religious text should be dispersed during school hours.
Would you be okay with them distributing the Koran, Torah, or Al Gore's Inconsquential truth?
