People should be free to choose what is best for themselves as long as they do not infringe on the rights of others to do the same. I created this blog to discuss issues I have with big government, liberal media, and to talk about my support for capitalism and the Iraq War.

Since the MSM has started picking up Michael Yon does that mean that you're going to stop reading his dispatches?
MSM normally means the ubiquitous left leaning news organizations that lack the integrity to admit the subtle bias in their reporting.
Fox news lacks the integrity to admit the subtle bias in their reporting, but is neither ubiquitous nor left leaning. Fox news is not what is generally meant by MSM.
Speaking of leaning to the right, it makes sense that Fox News would take up Michael Yon instead say CNN. Reading some of his reports in Iraq you might get the vague impression that he likes his country and actually believe in what we are doing in Iraq. That kind of journalistic bias does not mesh well with the MSM neutral coverage of Iraq as a failure and nothing else. Sheesh, CNN is so neutral in coverage that they air propaganda of America’s enemy while ignoring the countless good things we have done in Iraq. CNN takes neutrality in coverage to a whole new level.
His main pooint seems to be about how happy the civilians in Iraq were before al-qaeda came into the country- ie, after teh fall of Sadam Hussein.
Weird, I would have expected things under Hussein to be worse, but I guess not.
