People should be free to choose what is best for themselves as long as they do not infringe on the rights of others to do the same. I created this blog to discuss issues I have with big government, liberal media, and to talk about my support for capitalism and the Iraq War.

With Edwards anything is possible. Even subsidizing state sponosorded homocide.
Hey, I'm paying way the hell more for this stupid war I never wanted. A lot more homicides there too.
Then we agree. Reduces taxes for war and social welfare. Im in favor, how about you.
Ok, so you're against the war in Iraq. Good to know.
Your against social welfare?
Nah, I'm for putting taxes back to where they were before the war and continuing to pay for stuff that the public wants. I'm just saying, if we're all going to start whining about paying for stuff we don't want, let's start with the most expensive one.
So then you no deal. You want social welfare without war. Thats sounds fair.
LOL
$699 billion (+4.0%) - Defense
$586.1 billion (+7.0%) - Social Security
$394.5 billion (+12.4%) - Medicare
$367.0 billion (+2.0%) - Unemployment and welfare
$276.4 billion (+2.9%) - Medicaid and other health related
Ballparking, i get 700 billion for Millitary and about 16t trillion for social programs.
correction: 1.6 trillion.
Oh sorry, I didn't notice where the discussion switched from a single new clause of a single program to being about all social welfare programs in existance.
Social welfare = Social welfare
Or
Social welfare ~= Social welfare
I thought you got a 780 on the quant part of the GRE.
So you're saying that any time someone talks about something, everything they say applies in absolutist terms to everything related in some way to that thing?
Why, by that logic, anyone who was favor of gun control because it saves lives, would have to favor ANY crazy law that could conceivably save a single life, no matter what other awful things it did. Ha! Ridiculous. Surely you couldn't mean such a thing.
Oh, wait...
Medicae and Medicate is not social welfare? How do you define social welfare?
