Political Bias Among College Professors

Via Instapundit a new poll shows a majority of people believe college professors being biased is a serious problem. Will anything be done about it? Should anything be done about it? At public institutions I think there is an argument to be made.

Too bad they don't ask college attendees (or even people who HAVE EVER attended college) - a college education is a (expensive) product after all, why aren't we asking teh consumers how they like it? I'm sure a majority of americans would find my violent video games to be a 'serious problem'.

A great bulk of college education is financed by the American taxpayer.

Are public colleges as liberal as private colleges? I'd be interested to know.

Even still much of the money in a private college is tax money. For example, I'm willing to bet your salary is paid on a NIH grant.

Yeah, but that money is going to research, not teaching.
