People should be free to choose what is best for themselves as long as they do not infringe on the rights of others to do the same. I created this blog to discuss issues I have with big government, liberal media, and to talk about my support for capitalism and the Iraq War.

So again, you didn't read the article did you, just the headline. Is this what bloggers do? They rail at headlines that supposedly show MSM liberal bias while not actually reading the entire article?
The first two paragraphs of the story are the only negative aspects of the story. Thereafter, the rest of the story (about 20-25 more paragraphs) detail the reasons why 2007 was the deadliest year (the buildup and new tactics) and tell how the buildup and new tactics have worked wonders at stemming the violence and how life is returning to normal and you hear kids playing in the streets instead of gun battles.
You really should read the whole article. You learn a lot that way.
I read the whole article - I know the "other points" they mention. But what is the "MAJOR POINT" of the story. let me fill you in
WAR IS BAD!
CNN also featured how bad war is. They have not covered Iraq in a while nice to see them stick to their principle even when the US is clearly winning. Finally a new organization with integrity.
WHoa whoa whoa, you've switched your argument from 'It takes a liberal bias to think the war in Iraq is wrong' to 'It takes a liberal bias to think that WAR IS BAD'???
I suspect that many conservatives who have lost family members in combat would be happy to tell you that war is bad, even if they think it is a neccessary evil at times.
Let me come out with it right now: I think war is bad.
We all know war is bad - that is why it is funny that MSM needs to remind us of that fact - especially when we are doing so well right now.
Wait a minute. Hold on a sec. Are you telling me war is bad? You sure? I always was under the impression it was good. When did this change?
Well if you both agree that war is obviously bad, I'm confused why you keep expecting to see so much cheerful, positive coverage of it.
We all agree that on clear day the sky is blue and yet for some reason the MSM doesn't cover this every other day as a top headline.
Huh. What could be the difference?
I didn't ask why the war is covered so much. I asked why you expect that coverage to be positive, if war is bad. But thanks for trying to weasel out of a straight answer- lets me know I got you.
