People should be free to choose what is best for themselves as long as they do not infringe on the rights of others to do the same. I created this blog to discuss issues I have with big government, liberal media, and to talk about my support for capitalism and the Iraq War.

The last paragraph of the story could be the reason.
"It's not as if people have forgotten Iraq. "We still think a lot about the boys over there - I have a nephew and grandnephew there," said Mary Melka of Independence, Iowa. But she has another reason it's no longer a decisive issue for Democrats. "All the candidates would pretty much bring them home," she said."
I imagine, the Democratic candidates probably want to try and distinguish themselves from each other and if everyone will do the same thing, there's no use in talking about it.
If you'd like the more conservative answer it would be this. Things are going much better in Iraq now so it's not as much of a hot button issue as it was previously, therefore no more talky talky.
What will be interesting will be to see if the Republican candidates no longer distance themselves from Bush. I don't see that happening.
By the way, I saw that both NBC and CBS will be carrying the Patriots game (which originally only going to be on the NFL network). I imagine you're creaming your shorts now.
Yeah, it say in the second paragraph that people aren't asking them about it anymore. That's probably why they're not talking about it.

Please tell me that line was a joke. Politicians never answer the question they are given. They always push whatever agenda they want to talk about.
