IL Governor Says Chicago Needs National Guard to Help Reduce The Violence

So this year Chicago has allready had more murders than last year and of course the media is all over it. So how do politicians respond. With bringing in the military and signing tougher gun laws thats how. Duh!

This Blagojevich is a fucking wanker. He is the governor of the state not the mayor of Chicago.

Furthermore I absolutely love the fact that Chicago has some of the most austere gun laws in the country and politicians are calling the gun violence an escalating crisis. How can one keep a straight face when they support gun control because it reduces gun violence? If this increase gun violence proves anything, it’s that gun control clearly does not work.

What’s with him calling people that live in suburbs racists? More to the point how is it that the only meaningful piece of information he pulls from the fact that practically every victim is non-white is that white people don't care? How does he fail to make the other inference that perhaps minorities in poor areas of a region are more likely to shoot each other? I guess it would be too much to hope for him to infer something useful, like poor people deal drugs, and that this kind of work leads to lots of gun violence. About the least useful inference you can draw regarding the fact that people in suburbs don't shoot each other is that white people are racists.

I'm wondering if his ready inference regarding white people not caring is indicative of him being racist against white people. Seems likely to me.

This guy is unbelievable. After 1 year of trying to figure out how to pay for the CTA the Govenor signed a deal but made sure all senior citizens could ride free. Which made no sense by the way. Well now he has made some cuts to his budget and one of those is the 37 million dollars it costs to pay for the seniors to ride free. Now it is the job of CTA to come up with that money. HILARIOUS!
