People should be free to choose what is best for themselves as long as they do not infringe on the rights of others to do the same. I created this blog to discuss issues I have with big government, liberal media, and to talk about my support for capitalism and the Iraq War.

So a student disagreed with something the administration did. When did this become news?
You know, I was driving home from work today and this guy in a car cut me off. I was really angry, probably as angry as this kid was... won't someone write a story about me and how my feelings were hurt?
The reports according to one of the adminstrators:
"But Visconti said the roleplay was based too much on extreme situations that were too unrealistic to relate to real situations."
I wonder if Paul Haggis designed this exercise.
My favorite line:
ASU Residential Life spokeswoman Diana Medina said the role-play was designed to examine the effects of racism, classism and “homophobia” on different cultural and economic groups.
Homophobia get's quotes around it? Is it some type of new-fangled slang the kids are using today? wth.
How does one measure the objectivity of a term?
?? not sure what you mean.
Some would question the objectivity of 'homophobia' in realtion to the other terms. This is probably why it get quotes.
No, still not sure what you mean. Hating people bcuase they're gay is called homophobia; I think that's just the definition of the word. Maybe I'd see what you were saying if the story was quoting someone saying that a certain action was prompted by 'homophobia', but that wasn't how it was used in the article.
The term homophobia is considered slang and often times its use pejoratively.
WHAT? In what way is the term homophobia slang? Maybe the term gay basher could be considerd slang, but what's a more proper, accurate word for what's being described tahn homophobia?
