ACLU Is At It Again

Suing a plane company for transporting terrorists. So instead of thanking them for helping with the war on terror, we are going to sue them? "American corporations should not be profiting from a CIA rendition program that is unlawful and contrary to core American values."
Core American values? Like protecting my ass from terrorists?

AAAARRRGHH! How can you argue one day that everyone should be allowed to have as many assault riflesas they want so we can take down the government if it ever gets too oppresive, then the next day applaud the government for snatching people off teh street and shipping them to overseas prison camps where they are held in secret without trial or charges? This disparity always seems so fucking insane to me and I see it all the time.

Nuance: citizen. Look into it.

I agree with Steve. Seems like common sense to me.

Ah, ok, not hypocritical, just naive...

I'm sure that the military having secret facilities where people are held in secret without trial, and having military and intelligence personal trained both in abducting people off of US streets and being guards at these types of prisons, and having government officials who are used to and comfortable with ordering these types of abductions on non-citizens, does not make it ANY MORE LIKELY AT ALL that someday these types of tactics will be used against citizens.
