This Makes A Lot of Sense

The New York Times is losing a lot of money because readership is down (many newspapers are). But the solution as the Times see it is to raise the price on their paper. Super Smart!

I dunno, it seems like sales are declining because people would rather read stuff on theweb, not because it's more expensive. That being the case, raising teh price might not lose as many customers as you would otherwise expect, and it'll help make up for dwindling ad revenues. But, we'll see.
