People should be free to choose what is best for themselves as long as they do not infringe on the rights of others to do the same. I created this blog to discuss issues I have with big government, liberal media, and to talk about my support for capitalism and the Iraq War.

Dude. Seriously? Clearly you didn't read the article. You saw the headline, got outraged, and decided to make a post.
It was written by Fareed Zakaria who has more intelligence in his pinky finger than you and I have combined.
One of the main lines in the article is this: "Recognizing the reality of radical Islam is entirely different from accepting its ideas."
He's basically saying that the true nut jobs out there in the Muslim world are few and far between and most of the people we are fighting are not the hardliners (Al Qaeda), but people who have other agendas and that we can reconcile with.
He goes even further in saying that the Bush administration evolved it's tactics. During the first term, they used generalizations that grouped a whole bunch of people together who didn't all belong in a bunch, but by his second term, they had learned that generalizations are dangerous. You piss off a lot of people and create even more enemies when you say those things.
And the nazi line? The nazi's wanted to take over the world so, no, we shouldn't have just lived with them.
You should probably read the article, it was actually quite interesting and you might like it.
