Israel Recognizes Gay Marriage

I still have not heard one good argument against gay marriage. The arguments I hear always come back to morals and we need to protect the family crap. I know it sounds cheesy but if you have parents that love you- who cares if they are gay or straight. They both should have the right.

Yeah, I always get confused when 'protecting the family' means 'hurting individual members of families'. Frankly ,I'd much rather protect the rights and happiness of living US citizens than protect abstract concepts. This should be a no-brainer.

Me too, thats why I dont understand why protecting the concept of wealth distribution is more important than the rights and hapiness of the citizens.

It should be a no brainer.

Yup, anyone who favored methods of wealth distribution which didn't protect the rights and happiness of more citizens than they hurt sure would be stupid and short-sighted.

I agree that why we should pass a law that enables the majority to enslave a minority. In this way we protect the rights and hapiness of more citiznes than we hurt.

Where 'enslave' is translated as 'you have total freedom to do anything you want with your life and your billions of dollars'

Is that your roundabout way of acknowledging that free markets lead to the abundace of wealth for anyone even vaguely motivated to work.

Nice to see you coming around even if your to embarrased to overtly admit your change in perspective.
