People should be free to choose what is best for themselves as long as they do not infringe on the rights of others to do the same. I created this blog to discuss issues I have with big government, liberal media, and to talk about my support for capitalism and the Iraq War.

Yes I understand how peoples views can change over time. It is still fun to see though
Boy they sure do change their opinions and beliefs based on data and evidence. Damn those flip-flopping fools.
I'm curious if congress (both democrats and republicans) would have approved war with Iraq if they knew how badly Bush's administration would blow it.
Not knowing/understanding the culture, not knowing how many troops would be needed, not giving the troops what they need to win (mainly armor)...
At least the surge seems to be working. Hopefully for everyone involved this will end soon and we can all go back to figuring out where in the hell Osama is.
And by the way, that was a nice little bit of propoganda. I'm surprised that they weren't able to dig up something Barack said. I understand he wasn't a senator back then, but come on... if the goal is to show how stupid democrats are, especially leading up to the presidential election (you'd think it were in a month instead of a year and a half the way they're all campaigning), I would think they'd want to show Obama for the flip flopper he is. It worked well for republicans last election with Kerry. I suppose they're reserving the assault on Obama until closer to the election.
The democrats did not revise their position in light of new information. The mere suggestion makes me laugh out loud. This is political opportunism at its best or worse depending on your view. Voter’s position on the war began shifting and along with it democratic rhetoric.
In regards to Iraq, if we hold everything constant except that a Democrat was president I wouldn’t be surprised to see a democratic video showing the contradictions in the republican rhetoric as the war lost voter support.
You seem to forget that democrats continued to make the same statement under Bush for a bunch of years, until evidence came out that Iraq didn't have any WMD's.
Then they started to say that Iraq didn't have any WMD's.
