Why Is This Imus Situation a Big Deal?
I cannot believe all the coverage his comment is getting. I do not understand why this is being treated like he killed someone. Once again MSN believes white people need to learn a lesson about race. They love to get on their high horse and tell me all about the race problems in this country and how white people are the ones who are guilty and need to fix it. And with the lessons being taught to us by the honorable Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, who have never made stupid comments in their life, makes it even more hysterical. By the way - make sure you watch BET today and count in a 15 minute time frame the N word and the B word is used by the performers on that channel. But that is somehow different I am sure. And the fact I do not know the difference probably makes me racist.

The coverage has been extensive because Imus caused psychological harm not just to those players but to a whole minority.
Why is nobody standing up for this guy? Is what he said that bad for all of this to occur - being fired? What a precedent this is setting. Say a racist comment and your automatically a racist and you lose your job - if your white.
In the meantime where are the civil rights leaders now for the Duke lacross players. THey were all over the place standing up for the stripper. Why are they not standing up for the boys? Does civil right leaders only protect black people?
